They’re back! The Parents Television Council. You remember them….a bunch of blowhards who over-react to anything on television that they think could be hazardous to the emotional well-being of America’s young people. Things like sexual content, drugs, alcohol….you know, things THAT ARE FUN.
Now they’re gunning for the CW. The group has its panties in a bunch over a threesome. Specifically, they’re upset because a promo for next week’s episode of “Gossip Girl” features a teenage tryst involving three of the show’s young characters.
The PTC is so P-O’d, they’re urging CW affiliates not to air the show. They call it “reckless and irresponsible”. In other words, typical teenage behavior.
Let’s get real here. Do they really think teenagers who watch a show about other teenagers who are impossibly good looking, amazingly popular, incredibly lucky with the opposite sex (and occasionally members of their own sex)….not to mention rich and spoiled….are going to rush out and take part in an orgy just because they saw a threesome on tv?
The show is a total fantasy…it has nothing to do with reality. But it does make for good entertainment. Maybe not good clean fun…but fun.

It has to be Jenny, Nate and Venessa....Why else would they care if 3 consenting adults had sex? But throw in a 16 year old and now were talking statutory rape.
