It’s bad if Hillary is more popular than you

President Obama’s poll numbers have been taking a real hit.  You know how it is….the economy is still in the toilet, the health care battle drags on….yada yada….all of that is bad for a president’s popularity.  He seems to have taken most of it in stride….but this one has to hurt.

HE’S LESS POPULAR THAN HILLARY CLINTON!

A new Gallup Poll came out today….and Obama’s favorable rating is down to 56%.  New York’s former junior senator is at 62%.  He’s way down…she’s holding steady….not that 62% makes her anywhere near as popular as the Jonas brothers….but for Hillary, that’s not bad.

Can’t you just imagine the conversation today in the Oval Office?   The president would be like “Hillary!  I’m less popular than Hillary?  Oh man, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are gonna have a  field day!”

Now we should point out, the poll was taken before the president won the Nobel Peace Prize….so his numbers could climb back up, and he could become more popular than Hillary again.  Woo hoo!
